With modern sectional garage doors by KIP KOP, programming the remote control is a simple process, although it may vary slightly depending on the drive manufacturer (e.g., Smartlift, Beninca, Allmatic, PAX-II, ...).
Most motor units have a “Learn” or “Prog” button that needs to be pressed, after which you must select the desired button on the remote control within a few seconds to complete synchronization. The “Learn” or “Prog” buttons are programming keys on the motor unit of the garage or gate system. Their function is to enable the pairing of a new remote control or to program the device functions.
It is important to perform the programming close to the receiver and ensure the remote control has fresh batteries, as a weak signal may prevent successful pairing.
If the remote does not respond, check whether the motor drive is locked in safety mode.
